Weakening Rupee: A Generational Challenge

The value of the Indian Rupee compared to the US Dollar has steadily declined over the past few generations. 

When my grandmother was 10 years old, it took just 10 paise (0.1 Rupee) to buy one US Dollar. 

By the time my father was 15, that figure had risen to 3.31 Rupees, and by my birth, it was 6.36 Rupees.

Our Daily Mission

Premature death between 25-55; leaves their kids orphaned & spouses deprived of their support.

This incident starts a cascading & negative impact on the economic well being of the society & the HDI of the nation.

To prevent such environmental degradation; we have to reduce incidents of this type. It is our daily mission to prolong longevity, Healthier life span &  standard of living in our immediate neighborhood.

मजेदार बात या विडंबना?

आज से सिर्फ 99 साल पहले अर्थात 1925 में एक अमेरिकन डॉलर 10 पैसे की कीमत का था। 

आज 2024 में ₹84 का $1 है। मतलब सिर्फ 99 वर्ष में हम आर्थिक रूप से 840 गुना गरीब हो चुके। 

बावजूद इसके कि हमने इन सालों में सैकड़ो विश्वविद्यालय खोले। लाखों आईआईटियन बनाए। ढैरों प्रबंध संस्थान बनाए। बड़े-बड़े पुल, बांध, सड़के बनाईं। 

और मजेदार बात यह है: कि कभी का “सोने की चिड़िया” कहलाने वाला देश, जहां सारी दुनिया के नंगे फुक्के यायावर साहसी उद्यमी: डच, फ्रांसीसी, पुर्तगीज, ब्रिटिश, मुगल कुछ पाने के लिए आते थे; आज उस देश की हालत दुनिया के 133 देशों से नीचे पहुंच गई है; मानव संसाधन विकास सूचकांक के आधार पर। 

परिस्थिती यह हो चुकी है कि देश का सबसे होनहार युवा ब्रेन और महनती लोग, इस 84 गुना फर्क के चलते; देश छोड़कर बाहर जाने को लालायित हो रहे हैं। 

या मजबूर हो रहे हैं।  

शब्द अपने-अपने। 

फिर भी आज विडंबना यह है कि आप देश के कितने भी फटीचर, गटर साफ करने वाले से लेकर महानतम राजनयिक, ब्यूरोक्रेट, इंडस्ट्रियलिस्ट, विचारक, दृष्टा, लेखक, वक्ता,आयातक, निर्यातक, बैंकर, शिक्षाविद्, गुरू, कुलपति, कुलाधिपति से पूछो आप कैसे हैं? 

जवाब मिलेगा एकदम ठीक हैं।
